What: AQE/Metro Justice Monthly Education Committee Meeting

When: Wednesday June 13th, 2018 at 5:30 pm

Where: 540 West Main St, Rochester, NY. Parking is available on West Main, King Street or Madison Street or in the back via Yack Alley and Spies Alley.  See the Map

Purpose: As a committee collectively deciding how we plan to move forward with our strategy.   

Outcome: A concrete understanding of our strategy chart and its purpose. Knowledge and understanding of our political climate and how politics and education are intertwined. Knowledge of upcoming events that pertain to our work.Have all those who wish to attend signed up for the Leadership Summit. Here from Donna and Rose from Artist Coalition for Change Together about turning activism into art.

- Update from Reatha & Barbra about our trip to Albany to Lobby for the Safe and Supportive Schools Act.

-Update on the Committee Potluck from Daniel

-Committee Chair Updates (Pia & Lydia)

6:15PM Here from Rose and Donna about what they are working on and how they want to incorporate it into our work.

6:35PM Our strategy chart. Where we are and how we are going to move forward with our work.

6:45PM Update from Cindy about canvassing and how others can participate.

6:55PM Discuss upcoming important dates and how others can participate.

7:00PM Closing
