Event Description

Open-House  5:00 to 7:00pm

Question & Answer Session 7:00 to 8:30pm

This public informational meeting is being held to discuss ongoing projects and recreational programming in Genesee Valley Park West. The meeting will be an open-house format. Attendees are invited to come at the time of their choosing. The design teams and City staff will be available to explain the projects, answer your questions and record your feedback.

The Genesee Valley Park West Master Plan will develop a report with plans, recommendations and cost estimates for the enhancement of the historic park's physical infrastructure over the next 20 to 30 years.

The Brooks Landing Phase II Public Improvements project will construct, in summer 2015, physical improvements to the park roadway, trails and landscape north of Elmwood Avenue.

In addition, the City's Department of Recreation & Youth Services and the Genesee Waterways Center will be available to discuss their programs, projects and recreational opportunities.
