Rochester, NY, January 22, 2009-- The Business & Social Sciences Division of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County and the SUNY Brockport Small Business Development Center are sponsoring a free program on Wednesday morning, February 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building located at 115 South Avenue, Rochester.
Certified business advisor Ralph Toscano of the Small Business Development Center will present “The Importance of Good Recordkeeping in a Small Business, Especially for Schedule C Tax Filers.” The program will cover the legal issues facing today’s small business owner. Emphasis will be on the need for the documentation of business records and an example of the tax responsibilities of the self-employed (IRS Schedule C).
