I am cleaning out what I thought my kids might be interested in but are not. Does anyone know if any school (or anyone) would be interested in a "stamp collection"? I started collecting when I was a kid (yes, Sweetie, they had postage back then). These are not official clean stamps, but postmarked - some are quite old, some aren't, but they're still interesting for those who are so inclined. There are even some foreign stamps - they might be good in an educational setting, I don't know. Anybody have any ideas? I don't want to throw them out without trying to find a home first.
Thank you for any help.
Just an odd comment. I also had a stamp collection when young. That was back in the days when you sent a letter if you lived far away, or made a phone call in case of emergency, like if someone died. Letters were the main form of communication. So I may be even older than you!
