From Susan Morehouse:
Minutes for July Meeting
No meeting in August
Block Party August 1st
We had a good turnout and Officer Andy Dimaria joined us. There were concerns about the following:
A child bitten by a dog on Warwick-dog was removed to be watched for rabies for 10 days? The process was explained.
Speed trailer on Warwick in June, when removed, the cars were faster than ever. Recorded highest speed with speed trailer was 122 mph. Talk about speed bumps and where and how they are installed, the drawbacks (plowing, buses, etc).
Large group of kids on Arnett and Warwick, the impact on the neighborhood, the problems they are bringing, what RPD can and cannot do legally, Pathways to Peace involvement, the possibility of another week with the temporary camera and the possibility of a permanent camera. It is important to call 911 when these kids are gathering and especially when they are fighting. They tend to gather between 4-11 pm. The gang is called the 3-10 gang. Information was shared about where they are gathering and who the ringleaders are.
Drug dealing at 301 Wellington and 236 Warwick, blue and green car.
