Up until the addition of Social Sign-In, when you wanted to sign-in on Location19.org to post something you had to click "Sign-In" then type your email address and then type your password. To make your life easier I have activated "Social Sign-In" with Facebook. This will help people who are normally logged-in to Facebook.
If you are logged-in to Facebook but not Location19, all you need to do is navigate to a Location19.org page and click the Facebook Button:
in the Sign-Up or Sign-In box just under the banner picture at the top right of the Location19 page:
That is all you'll need to do!
The very first time you use this Sign-In technique Facebook will show you a Permission Request box:
in which you need to click "Log In". All future times you Sign-In to Location19 with the Facebook Button, you will get in directly.
Other Sign-In options: If you are exploring Location19 without being Signed-in and decide to clickthe Sing-In on the right of the top black bar:
or on the +Add button present on some pages for posting Events, Blogs or Discussions:
You will get a pop-up window that invites you to Sign-In as before but it now has a Facebook Button also:
Click the Facebook Button and you're in.
For people who do not have a Location19.org membership or if they click Sigh-Up they will be brought to a pop up box where use of the Facebook Social Sign-Up will make obtaining a Location19 membership easier:
Click the Facebook Button and follow instructions. I'll still need to approve the application but a lot of the required profile info will will be entered automatically from the Facebook profile.
Hope the new feature makes your life easier.
John
