About 20 people had signed up for the tour at Square Fair,we expect more. And we decided to schedule it in September from 4pm to 7pm. Volunteers would be welcome John and John volunteered. Next step is to make a detailed plan
Community involvement in Superintendents conference day Oct 5
19th wca to provide memberships to staff
Community/staff reception following dismissal Thursday Sept 13 (rain date 9/20) across the street from the school
Ribbon cutting ceremony
Sept 10 at 11am - note school in session
Planning at district level
Provide names of invitees to Carla
Plan to hold 19th Ward Convention in school 16 in November
Diane Watkins and Carla to work the details

Aug 27 is Wilson day – students from U of R will be painting bollards to prep them for the students to paint on Oct 5
Plans for the playground are in progress to accommodate children with and without disabilities

Debra Ramsperger is the acting principal. She is a retired Principal.
The next committee meeting will be Tuesday September 11th at 7 pm in the 19th Ward Community Association office.
