    Hey Rachael, I'm Shannon. I went to your website. I'm just beginning The Wordy Shipmates and it is good, as expected. I loved Assassination Vacation. I loaned it to a friend who then loan edit to someone else, haven't seen it since. I believe it's now circulating amongst folks in 3 counties over.
    I read a rather nasty litle review of the Shipmates book. It found Vowell's history to slight and apparently was offended by how funny she is. I think a sense of humor is a requirement to read or survive history, you know? Professional envy may have been afoot there.
    Anyway, I live on Marlborough and just wanted to introduce myself.
