Hi Shannon, you did help me a lot with my health care sign up. Was a pleasure meeting you, and hope to see you more on Location19! Check out all the groups, you may find some to join. Attend some meetings, especially the SWCC which will give you an overview of all in the SW Quadrant. If you want any guidance on contacting people in the community to help you with your job, outreach, feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com. Mark
Welcome to Location19. I hear you do a great job getting people signed up for healthcare. That is a great service for people in our community. Now that you are a member of Location19, when you sign-in, you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section and you can join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there. Check out A Brief Overview on Location19 Structure to get familiar with what's where. In the tabs, Be sure to check out the "All Groups - Icons" sub-tab. We are currently up to 66 groups. Only the most recently added 20 are shown in the column to the right.
To join a group such as SW Common Council (SWCC), click on the group, then in the upper right of the group page just under the banner picture, next to your name click on +Join SW Common Council (SWCC) and you are a member! Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself. Anyone can join any of the online group and most of the ones that represent an organization, such as the SWCC, are also open to the public if you ever want to sit in on one of their meetings.
