        Today my group and I walked around in the 19th ward (Southwest Area). The street we were assigned to was Genesee st. We interviewed the business owners. we asked questions like do you hire youth, if no why not ? we also mentioned are they familiar with location nineteen. We received mostly positive feedback from the business owners. The only negative thing we found out about the businesses was that they weren't hiring youth because they were a family…

SW jobs

Today Emani , Bralynnn , Miss shelby , and I took a walk down Genesee , & we went into 12 Bussinesses , and we asked them a few questions / interviwed them . I intoroduced myself very well , and told the bussiness owners who i was & what organization i was from . Today my best expirence was intoducing myself , at first my self and the others in my group were a litle nervous , but we all overcame it . Today me and some friends went out to interveiw some bussiness and to see if any owners hire youth. I feel that it went well because i try to ask good questions so they people could answer them. Some bussines hire youth some dont . I was a good day.

We went  interviewing business in the neighborhood of thurston and arnett to see if they hired youth. Most businesses did not want to hire youth because they are not legal to use equipment. It was ok to do something new.

7/23/12 Swan Jobs

Today we did some role playing to see how well a interveiw would go by going to bussiness to see what they are about. We also made up questtions for bussiness owners, and see if they would hire youth.
