19th ward crime alert

We are trying to close the loop on crime issues in the neighborhood.  So I wanted to post an update and ask for help. 

First we are trying to have less crimes occur.

On October 15th we are hosting a Burglary Prevention Clinic at 121 Lincoln Avenue. We will have two Crime Prevention Officers present,  Vendors from various security/alarm systems, How to presentations.  The idea is to individuals to come and get information to take back to help make their house/apartment harder to…

City asking for your help to identify locations needing bike racks

The City of Rochester needs your help to find suitable locations for their post & loop or inverted-U bicycle racks. Most of the racks are on the City’s east side so locations on the west side of the City would be especially helpful.



To be considered for installation the location must meet the following guidelines:

1. Must be within the City Right of Way or on City property;

2. Must serve a viable business or destination;

Hello everyone.

Reminder, the next PCIC meeting is this Wednesday, September 14th at 7pm,  at the Staybridge Hotel.  The newly assigned Commander for the Westside Division will be there.  A Probation Officer from Monroe County will be there to give a presentation and answer questions.
