I rescued these kittens from a neighbor's yard on the 4th of July when it was 90+ degrees outside. They are 19th Ward kittens and they are absolutely gorgeous, healthy, and fun! The "cat group" has been busy lately. Last week it came to our attention that there are two cat colonies in the Ward with lots of kittens. We've contacted the people who are feeding these cats and we are staging an intervention of sorts, educating them about spay/neuter resources among other things. This cat was put out by his owner and denied food and water. One of our 19th Ward neighbors, Pam, responded to this cat's constant cries and brought him into her home. She is calling him mittens. She has several pets already and needs to find a home for him. She is not "on the internet" so I am posting for her. I met mittens and he is extremely loving.
