Hi Tracy,

A belated welcome to Location19!  You joined a bit before I took over from Shawn as network admin.  I was just sending out messages to to people in the neighborhood of School 16 and saw your profile.  Hopefully you have followed the effort being made to get that school back in the neighborhood and in good shape.  Having a good school in the area impacts everyone in terms of increased property values and reduced crime rate not to mention having a good place to send our children.  We are trying to make sure that the school will meet the need of today's parents and children, providing a safe and stimulating environment the full day while parents are at work.  Much of what has taken place so far is reviewed in the SW Education Forum.

The next meeting is this Wednesday:  SW Education - School #16 Mtg

I dont know if you have been following activity on Location19.  It's a good idea to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site even if you don't check Location19 every day.  You can also find a list of new information posted by looking at the Latest Activity column on the right side of the Main page.

There is a ton of information you can search for and read through on Location19.  Be sure you make use of the search options.

Please post your picture.  Step by step instructions can be found here How to Post Your Picture - It's easy!

I look forward to your participation. If you can't make it to the School16 Meeting, you hopefully will be involved in other activities. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.

John
