Thanks John, we always love seeing you and Marian. You'll have to come back often of course. She looks totally different from when you saw her, it's wild.
Thanks John for welcoming me. I am sure this venu will keep me informed and allow me to meet many more of my neighbors! Im really looking forward to it.
Hi John. Thanks for welcoming me. I thought that last night's meeting was VERY informative, and I look forward to going to more of them. I just started a Virginia Ave Block Club, so if you have any suggestions on how to improve participation, I'll take them!
Thank you so much for the welcome John, I appreciate the information on the upcoming meetings and look forward to attending them. Unfortunately Ian does not believe he will be able to make these but I hope to bring a friend. I also really appreciate the contact information for Officer Kristin Runyon and the location of the NSC. I can only learn so much from simply driving through the neighborhood from time to time. I have been trying to do my share of research on living in the area and this forum seems to make it much easier. The more I read about the efforts and involvement from this community, the more at ease I feel.
I would like to thank you again for the great information!
Lena
Thank you for the welcome ,I look forward to getting to know everyone . I must say I have no family or friends in the Rochester area , so it will be great to meet people.
Thank you again .
It is very nice to meet you and thank-you for your kind words. I know that this will be a "challenge" for Mark, but I am confident that he will do an excellent job.
Thanks for the Welcome, John. I'm working with the pediatrics program at Strong and with SWAN to address parents' health needs regarding their children. Nice site you've got going here.

Thank you for putting out the welcoming mat. I hope that by bringing us together, we can try to accomplish some goals collabortively. I feel that re-inventing the wheel is non-productive, and realizing that even though the city seperates the neighborhoods by grids, we all face the same issues with violence and poverty. This city is full of people that do care for their neighborhoods, and wish to promote the positive. Sector 3s biggest loss recently was your gain.
When the city placed Susan B. Anthony on the Sector 4 books, it really bothered our group. The Susan B. Anthony group has always been a large voice for Sector 3 and losing people like Dawn Noto and Barbara Hoffman was the most difficult part of that seperation. You folks have inherited a pair of wonderful people that really care, and give all that they can to their community. I was Dawn Noto's co-chair until the "divorce", but we remain great friends. Thank you for your time.
John, thank you for joining my group. I hope that find my comments informative. I believe that anything can be accomplished through mutual respect, a positive attitude, and accountability for all. I look forward to meeting you for a face to face conversation. I'm old school.
Glad you're more creative than I am! I don't think the group has a logo, although Katrina Rex was working on it. Until I get something more formal, it looks good to me!
Thanks for the Welcome! I just realized after consulting with the geek of the household (Emilio), that our website is hosted on our home server, which hasn't been hooked up yet. I'm hoping it will be up and running later this week!
Thank You John~It would be great to get something going about the missing on here. Since ALonzo and Domonique are from the area and Brian last seen close to the 19th ward it could be helpful. Not to mention to educate the community that Missing Person's is a real problem. One that doesn't seem to be going away.
Thank you for your nice welcome, John. This website provides a great opportunity to share information about the issues that concern and effect our neighborhood.
Thank you for the warm welcome, John! My husband and I are moving to Rochester from Florida, and we look forward getting involved in our new community. This website is a wonderful resource. Thank you for everything you do to keep it up and running!
Thank you for reaching out to me. I am currently doing a service learning group project on block clubs in the SW quadrant. We are also doing some asset Mapping.
I would love to use you as a resource if you do not mind.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I appreciate all of the hard work that was done to make sure School No. 16 was not closed for good! I look forward to participating in any way I can as we progress with renovations and planning for our return. My personal email address is aebe0717@yahoo.com. Thanks again!
Thank you for adding me as a friend. let me know who to write the check to help support this site. Many people signed up. We need instructions where to send the money. Have a wonderful Saturday!
thanks John, I'm feeling a little more connected now. I could not attend last eve meeting because of planned engagement (prior). Look forward to talking with you further
Thanks John, I am slowly understanding everything. I posted a discussion on the Affordable Care Act and my assistance but will also look through pertinent groups. I'll try to attend the next SWCC meeting! Thanks for everything!
Thanks for the welcome John and thanks for all the advice on how to navigate around Location19!!! I look forward to meeting some people in person and discuss the upcoming events in the area. I'm bummed I missed the meeting this past week, I had to work, but hopefully I can make the next one. Look forward to chatting with you some more! Thanks again!
Thank you for the details for the site! I'll add myself to a couple of the groups and try to at least keep up with what is happening on the education front.
As you probably know, resources are being allocated to bring Wilson back to the place it used to be! One of the goals I have for the PTSO next year is to build community within and around the school. It is my belief that the school will only be successful if it is filled with students, staff and families that want to be there. The school and surrounding community should be beneficial to each other! For example IB students need to have community service hours to graduate. Some of these hours could be be spent working in the neighborhood and the more students that live in the neighborhood that attend school in their neighborhood the better.
I'm sure we'll have a chance to discuss this more in the near future, maybe at the art show and/or PTSO meeting!
John Thank you! i have the SWCC meeting on my calendar and was planning to attend. Unfortunately i have another meeting scheduled for the SWCC education meeting date but i so look forward to going to the next one as i am interested in the concerns being discussed and addressed. So i look forward to meeting you this Thursday! thank you so much!
John thank you for your welcome. I am very curious to see what or how things play out behind the scenes when it come to the future of the 19th ward. I take frequent walks throughout the neighborhood regularly and I find it exciting and frustrating at times by some of the things I observe.
