Spelling Bee
April 9th was the date for the 6th Annual Spelling Bee. Feedback has been received from the schools, most of which was positive. Daniel Aliber from the fraternity has put together a post mortem of the event and it will be archived for use next year. We have not resolved the issues of roles and responsibilities with the executive committee – in preparation read the association bylaws (download from the web page).
School 44 status
SBPT and CET have been meeting.
School 16 status
No news from Mike Schmidt on FMP and community feedback.
Old/New Business
There is a proposal for another charter in the southwest segment of the city. We need to take the lead in determining the approach from the association (support, oppose, stay neutral).
Next Meeting
Wednesday, May 11th at 7 pm in the 19th ward association office.
