Spelling Bee Update
Need to select either April 8 or 29 for the spelling Bee. Waiting for the brothers to return to school.
The first practice session has been held at the Arnett library, 6 students showed up. If someone would like to co-ordinate it, let me know.
Update on School 16 schedule
No new news. The next BAC meeting is January 18. AC is still not in the plan and we discussed elevating the issue.
Update on school choice task force

Volunteer Status
Deborah Hudnell is participating on the spelling bee Saturday practices and with school 10.
Old/New Business
The school district has an Ombudsman, Yolanda Asamoah-Wade . She has been on board for two weeks and will be working to resolve issues.
At the last Coffee and Conversation with the superintendent she stated that if a child was about to fall through the bus pickup cracks she would send someone to pick them up to bring to school

Wednesday, February 8th at 7 pm in the 19th ward association office.
