"What more can we do? I am so bothered by these violent behaviors. Who are these people that have come into our neighborhoods and destroyed the safety of our homes and families. I agree Margy we must stand together as a strong group, to bring peace…"

Profile Information

What Street (and location if not in the Quadrant)?
93 spruce avenue
How long have you lived there?
10 years
Do you rent or own?
Own
Do you plan on staying there?
If the crimes continue no...If something is done yes
Tell us about yourself:
I am a self-employed person who owns a child care facility for the past 10 years. My husband is retired and was the owner of Vesuvio Resturant a few years ago.
We love this area, however, it appears it is getting out of hand with all the violence...My husband insist we fight it out until things change.
Presently, I am the President for the SACS (Spruce Avenue and Custer Streets block club). We have met in the past, and it really calm the neighborhood down with some of the noise, drugs and neighbors with loud music.

Now we face crimes such as break-ins and shootings. I use to walk in the evenings in the neigborhood, now, I don't. Its so sad when you become hostage in your own neighborhood.

I am praying that the law enforcement as well as our neigborhoods can come up with a solution to these scary problems we face each day.
