Tell us about yourself:
Rochester ex-pat living in Buffalo. Prior to move, was proud member of Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood Association.

In Rochester, was an organizer of Chill The Fill campaign against filling the old subway tunnel, and helped organize the Susan B. Anthony neighborhood planning charrette with the Rochester Regional Community Design Center.

Occasionally I contribute articles to Buffalo Rising, a pro-
Buffalo new media venture, and recently wrote my first article for Artvoice, Buffalo's alt-weekly.

Hi RaChaCha,

Hopefully you can provide us a Buffalo perspective to ways to ways to work on community improvement projects.  Now that you are a member of Location19, when you sign-in you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 and you can join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there.

Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.  Be sure your email preferences are set for you to receive email notices.   Here is the Location19 Email Preferences instruction page.

It's a good idea to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site.   That has become a bit less crucial since the Latest Activity column has been enhanced with the addition of the "More..." button at the bottom of the column. That lets you go back as far as you need to go to see what you missed.  Without the Digest of or the Latest Activity column it is very difficult to know where the new posts are.

I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.

John
