I was born and raised in the 19th Ward and still live in the house that I grew up in.
I enjoy good food, beer, and wine with good friends. I like to garden, cook, and am a photgrapher. I sing in the choir at St monica Church and volunteer for a couple different library related causes. I'm a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts with 45 years of continuous membership.
My friends are the family I choose for myself.

Welcome to Location 19.  Now that you are a member, when you sign-in you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section of Location19 and you can join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there.  Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself. 

There is a ton of information you can search for and read through on Location19.  Be sure you make use of the search options.

It's a good idea to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site even if you don't check Location19 every day.  You can also find a list of new information posted by looking at the Latest Activity column on the right side of the Main page.
