Hello,

I recently joined the Location 19 website to make you aware of a college bar that is opening in my neighborhood.  I am a longtime resident on S Plymouth Ave and I just became aware of a gentleman that is trying to open up a college bar at 1155 S Plymouth Ave.  This is the same gentleman that has been buying up properties for students and evicting my friends and neighbors.  I do not think the neighborhood needs a college bar.  We will be inundated with drunk college kids on Friday and Saturday nights.  The city and neighborhood must stand up to prevent this bar.  It will only bring trouble.  The bar name is Plymouth Roc.  That is the same name of the gang that terrorized our streets years ago.  We do not need this.  We do not want this.

Sincerely,
Lucinda

we were sent a letter and we have fowarded it to the city hall let them make the decission I DIDNT SAY THE PETION LETTER MENTIONED ANYTHING YOU DID I SAID THE PETION WAS CREATED BECAUSE OF ALLEGATIONS OF THINGS YOU HAVE BEEN SAYING TO PEOPLE AND IF IM RIGHT THE LETTER DID SAY YOU GAVE COLLEGE KIDS A 100 DOLLAR RENT REDUCTION TO SIDE WITH YOU  my personal fealings is that you can open what you want but if this letter is true that we just received from a resident this community is going to have a bad problem some what like the state of Flordia is having and I pray for these kids

Eula, I don't find these vague, second hand accusations and implications useful to anyone. If you have a letter that contains truthful and factual information that this community should be aware of, I strongly encourage you to post it.

Anthony the letter will go to the city they are not for postin please beleive me you  really dont want them posted as I have repeatly said it could start something I dont want to be responsible for you will get a copy from the city or at the next business meeting end of discussion

Eula, I believe transparency is best. I hope you change your mind. I hope you post the letter. I wish you well in your future pursuits.

I did chamge my mind as far as me taking them I told the people to be there speak for themself or to send the letters in however I dont promote anyone saying things to one race against anthore race I think that TO PLAY THE RACE CARD IS SICK

Anthony i didnt go out asking for these letters they were sent to me

eula..maybe if the letter/letters are that incendiary, you should burn them instead. No need to discourage Anthony's enthusiasm for his project or any future investors to the area.

I believe that Anthony's investment in the neighborhood will be extremely positive.   As a business leader for the area, for merchant development, it is hard to believe you are not supportive.  This is the most positive thing that the street has seen in years!  A renovated building operating a successful business, a deli with fresh produce, these are exactly the things you should be promoting!  You have focused on problems with patrons that you have had. Anthony has made it clear they are going to be avoided and addressed if necessary.  How about supporting community growth, and joining with your neighbors to welcome a diversity of people into the area.

I am black and what one of these letters say was said to them is terrible for anyone to say to anthore person a person has the right to associate with any one they want to regardless of his/her race. I gave the letters back to these people and told them to send them in and to appear at the hearing, I wouldn't want anyone opening a bussiness in any neighborhood if they are saying negative things to one RACE about anthoreRACE Sure his plan is great and beautiful .HOWEVER IF WHAT THIS WOMAN IS SAYING IS TRUE DO WE WANT A BEAUTIFUL PRODUCTIVE BUSINESS WITH RACE PROBLEMS? I Was shocked to see what this woman had wrote because I saw a differnt person when I have been in Anthony  company. You want investors regardless of how they view the people in this area I want investors that are postive and will not create problems in the future in this area, dont jump on me I didnt go ask for these letters and i certainly didnt encourage them to write or say what they said.

Eula, the only person I have seen playing the race card in these discussions is you... and you have done so repeatedly.

one reason for me not postint if you can prove these are false you reputation has already been tarnished by what they say to the community and thats not fair if you are not guilty please trust me with this

Ms.Warren I am only speaking on one of the statements in one letter and the fact that Anthony has been confronted before about things he say and how he said them and Ms.Warren Eula was not one of the people  talking to Anthony about the Race fealings.Eula only spoke to him about the ages therefore dont say  i am playing the race card /You ask a question and i answered it as best as i could without going into full details
