Tell us about yourself:
I have been involved with human rights work in Rochester, which has included much time spent working with Take Back the Land, and other groups. I am currently creating a website called Hummingbird Rising which will feature people in Rochester who are working for change using whatever resources they have available. The site aspires to attract more people to join the flock of change makers by telling the stories of those who sacrifice and strive as best they can, even if the road is rocky. I am a photographer, and will be working with other photographers and writers to provide a constant flow of stories on the site. The site will launch by January 2014. If you have "hummingbirds" to suggest or want to help write, photograph, research, etc, I would love to hear from you.

To join a group such as SW Education Forum,   click on the group, then in the upper right of the group page just under the banner picture, next to your name click on +Join SW Education Forum and you are a member!  Being a group member lets you post to the group and also permits you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.

There is a ton of information you can search for and read through on Location19.  Be sure you make use of the search options.

It' a good idea to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site even if you don't check Location19 every day.  You can also find a list of new information posted by looking at the Latest Activity column on the Main page.

I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.
