- Recent transplant from Northern Virginia. Born and raised in Washington DC. Wife moved here almost four years ago, I commuted for that time, not willing to give up my good paying job. Finally took the leap and moved here. Love it so far. Having lived in Washington DC during the worst of its growing pains, I recognize a lot of the same issues here in Rochester. Very commited to community development. Looking forward to getting involved.
