Saturday Clean Sweeps begin at 8:30 a.m. where volunteers arrive to free coffee and donuts at Genesee Valley park. They're given a free t-shirt, assigned to a team and hit the streets by 9 a.m. Tools are provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own. They return to the staging ground at 1 p.m. for a picnic to build on the community spirit that is the most lasting benefit of Clean Sweep.

Well, The end of Flint Street is cleaner....for now!
You don't get double rations for working overtime on this job! That happened to me two or three years back.
So we finished up at 1 pm and went back for lunch. They had already not only put away all the food but were driving off with the tables and chairs. I was counting on that lunch, And I'm very hungry.
Gloves, rakes, shovels and grabbers are always a safe bet. They do supply tools there but it is good if you can bring your own. Here are some pictures from past years.
i have signed up for the CLean Sweep. What kind of tools would they prefer we bring?
