Event Description

Kids will learn about the importance of earning, saving, and spending money wisely as they  play a game in which they take care of an imaginary pet.  Kids will move around our meeting room using pretend money to  buy pet supplies, pay for vet visits, take their animal to a groomer, etc. Throughout the game, kids have to make many choices about what to buy and how much to spend, and in doing so they practice earning, spending, and saving money.  At the end of the game kids will chat about what they've learned, while enjoying refreshments.

This program is sponsored by Flower City AmeriCorps.

Ages 12 and under.
