Speak out to protect our water sources and health from hydrofracking, as Gov. Cuomo and regulators are poised to allow this hazardous technology in our state.
Come celebrate the International Day of Peace; claim your power to protect your community through active nonviolent resistance.
Wear blue to honor the purity of our water and air!
Be heard—come make a sign or banner voicing your concern, fear, frustration. Bring a white or blue shirt to stencil a message on!
Learn—participate in a direct action training and learn about civil disobedience.
Mourn—walk to the reservoir and take part in a ritual to mourn how current power structures and policymakers mistreat the earth.
Network—meet and join with other concerned community members.
Family-friendly. Bring people of all ages! Please support the earth by walking, biking, busing, or carpooling.
Sponsored by the Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence and other folks who care.
