The Consortium serves in an advisory role and participates in discussions about PNMC/Healthy Start program planning and service delivery with an emphasis on identification of barriers to perinatal health equity and ways to mitigate those barriers; including addressing community lack of understanding and information about the importance of preconception and prenatal care and knowledge about availability of perinatal health programs. Members include neighborhood residents, program participants, representatives from health and human service agencies that serve low income women of child bearing age, and PNMC staff; it meets four times a year.
Please email Jacquie Isaacs at Jisaacs@perinatalnetwork.net or call 546-4930 ext. 215 to let us know whether or not you are available to join us for the Consortium Meeting.
