Event Description
RCSD administration submitted recommendations for a comprehensive plan to the school board and public earlier this month. The board needs public input on this far-reaching plan which impacts every school in the district. The current plan recommends closing several schools over time and centralizing students into larger buildings. In several cases the administration recommends closing smaller neighborhood schools, some immediately and others over next decade.
