Event Description

School 2 walk on 3/6/14 canceled and will be rescheduled.

We are conducting Walkability Surveys at School # 2, #10, #19 .  We will walk the routes kids walk to school the same time they walk in the morning. The goal is to see what obstacles kids face walking to school safely….. Could be poor signs, broken curbs, barking dogs, drug houses. Our goal is to see what we can change through policy to make walking safer for your students.

We will walk for about 30 Minutes and then debrief in the community room at each school. I will provide coffee and muffins.

School #2 Thursday March 6, 2014 8:30-9:45am—Meet at School #2  190 Reynolds St, Rochester, NY 14608

School #19 Friday March 7, 2014   8:30-9:45am Meet at School # 19 465 Seward St, Rochester, NY 14608

School #10  Thursday March 13, 2014  7am-8:15am – Meet at School #10  353 Congress Ave, Rochester, NY 14619

This is great opportunity to ensure that our neighborhood kids have a safe walking route to school.

Thanks,

Erick Stephens
