Hi Gardeners, we plan to meet at the historic Ellwanger Gardens for a stroll while volunteers are working at this English-style garden established in 1867.  A true part of Rochester history, connected with the Ellwanger-Barry Nurseries, this is a must-see.  Hidden behind the stone walls at 625 Mt. Hope Ave., just past the cemetary, you may park on McLean St, and walk over to see a real treasure.  Enjoy 80 different kinds of perennials, including strong collections of iris, peonies, roses and hostas.  We plan to gather at 5:45 PM at the entrance to the garden.
