The Education Committee of the SW Common Council will meet Monday, February 4th at 6:00 pm at the Arnett Library with all interested community members to review information learned at meetings and the School 16 Survey. This review is to help us prepare for coming Coffee & Conversations with the Superintendent on the 7th and on the 12th as well as the Board of Education Meeting on the 14th. We will also review the letter from the City Council to the Board and Superintendent.
All parents, residents and teachers interested in schools 10, 16 and 44 are invited to participate and prepare for these meetings.
Additional information will be posted or distributed at the meeting. We are making progress! Let's keep up the pressure and work for an acceptable solution.
Our thanks to Bruce Tehan for once again keeping the Arnett Library open late for this important discussion.
