Event Description

A note from Mary Adams

Rochester Board of Education to Conduct Town Hall on Recommendations of Special Committees

On Tuesday, March 4th, the Rochester Board of Education will host a Town Hall to present the recommendations of the four Special Committees convened in January. The Special Committees were formed to examine options and develop recommendations for improvements in District performance with regard to student achievement, student and community safety, parent engagement, and concentration of poverty.

All members of the community are invited to attend the Town Hall, in which there will be an opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and offer additional suggestions.

The Town Hall will be held from 6:00-8:00PM in Conference Room 3A of the Central Office Building, located at 131 West Broad Street. This event will be streamed live via the Internet, so that anyone with access to a computer with Internet can view the Town Hall.

As an added benefit, if you go, you can also check out the Annual Arts Education Open House.
