If history fascinates, & you always want to know more about historical places & events, come & be part of the 19th Ward Community Association's History & Archive Committee. We are heading into several interesting projects:

.Oral/Video histories of people & businesses in the 19th Ward (view our video of Eddie DiPonzio, longtime barber on Thurston Rd, on YouTube);

.Restoration work in congress Avenue's Rapids Cemetery, where veterans of the American Wars of the 18th & 19th Century are buried;

.Delve into the history of the 19th Ward while working wih us to organize the archives.
