Gang Activity on Thurston

Here is a message from our CPO:
FYI

There has been an increase in gang activity in the 400 block of Thurston, just north of you. There was a shooting at 409 Thurston that seems gang related. Keep your eyes open and head down! Let me know if you see anything suspicious. They say that fight around 116 Enterprise was possibly related so I wanted to let you know. (Note from MS --- this was actually a fight that started at 92 Enterprise.)

Anthony and I just came in from outside from watching some suspicious activity at the end of Penhurst at Thurston Rd. So it looks like they might have been watching something Margy. I did not report anything, just observed what cars were there and what was going on. There was an older blue/green Jeep Cherokee and an older Tan Cadillac sitting at the end of Penhurst. The Jeep had it's back open for a bit, and the drivers side door open. There were several guys just standing around it, watching back and forth up and down Thurston. If the police where just up the block, they could have been watching them.
