In mid-June an unexpected visitor took up residence in my yard. A female cat, about five months old, had obviously been dumped by its owner or had traveled from afar. She was extremely friendly, loving and wanted into my house! I posted in the Lost and Found and had no response. I have been feeding her and as she became fatter and fatter - you know the story. On August 7th she went into labor. I whisked her up and into my basement laundry room into a blanket-lined cardboard box and voila ! They are three weeks old and will be available for adoption around September 25 - October 1, as will their mother. I have an eleven year old male cat who won't tolerate her. They met once by mistake and it could have been a catastrophe. If you are interested, or know of anyone who might be, please pass the message along. Call 328-8681 or contact me through Location 19. They will be examined - again - by my veterinarian, they have no fleas, they will be wormed (if necessary), and box trained. Their mother is loving, incredibly smart, gentle and beautiful and would make a wonderful companion.
