Hey Everyone,

Please look at the attached photos. This cat was found starving at St. Marys garage on Tuesday. We think it is a girl, very friendly, seems to be potty trained and loves to follow you around. We wanted to find out if it belongs to anyone. Angie and I are taking care of it. If anyone recognizes it please call us at 338-2621.

Thanks

John-
thanks for rescuing this cat. Since she let you take her into your home I imagine that she was probably abandoned from a home at some point recently. I hope that you're able to keep her since it sounds like she has 'settled in'.
As Sheri mentioned, Marlborough Road has become a bit of a 'destination spot' for stray and feral cats. Several of us are actively supporting somewhere between 8-10 strays on our street. These particular cats are not able to be placed in homes but we're doing what we can to feed them along with getting most of them spayed/neutered. In the long run, we hope to cut down on the stray population!
I can't take all the credit. Josanne and Dana orginally found her. So thank them to.
well, as the saying goes.... 'it takes a village"! We have named all of our rescue cats on Marlborough and the names usually come from either a 'distinguishing' characteristic or relate to how/where we found them. If you don't already have a name for the cat and because Dana and Josanne found this particular cat, I'd be thinking of a name like "dajo".
Thanks to all!
We named her Shelley.
