Yes, it has been a well-established and loved business on Thurston Rd. for a while, El Latino. The food is Dominican-republic, extremely good, and an excellent value. The owner is a charming woman who has supported the 19th Ward in every way over the years. Best of all, the food ... delish! The roast pork it out of this world. You can get sides of rice with beans, two styles of plantains, salad, you name it. They have chicken usually in two ways, either in stew or baked. Daily specials, much more. Very reasonable prices. You must try it.
