Hi Folks, just wanted to invite all of you to St. Stephen's New Orleans' Jazz Dinner - In addition to great chicken & sausage Jambalaya, gumbo, beans n' rice (NOLA style), white chocolate & cranberry bread pudding and pralines (all from the New Orleans School of Cooking), local jazz bassist Tim Sullivan has put together an ensemble of talented musicians for a wonderful evening of music. St. Stephen's has been in our neighborhood for over 100 years, is home to a number of ministries/groups including free Sunday Suppers, Mindful Meditation for children and adults, and NA and AA's High Nooners. This fund raiser will help us continue to be present here in this neighborhood.

The parish mission statement is definitely reflective of our 19th Ward - "St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church is an inclusive, progressive community where peace, social justice and faith converge in our worship and urban ministries."
