Thurston Killings in the News, Near Bars, Closing Time

http://www.democratandchronicle.com/article/201009041944/NEWS01/100904007?odyssey=mod_related_topix

Two unsolved murders, one from May 2010 and one from 2007, are mentioned in this article.  One was reported as happening at 537 Thurston and the other at 540 Thurston. These "addresses", 540 doesn't actually exist, are immediately next door to and across the street from 529 Thurston, home of the Thurston Bar and (No) Grill, and both murders happened near closing time.  I recall there were two shootings in October of 2009 in the same place.  There are others but I don't have time to keep a journal on these things.  For some reason the D&C does not mention the TB(N)G or it's address in any of the numerous reports on shootings there. Is it possible that all these killings have absolutely nothing to do with the Thurston Bar and (No) Grill?  Help me out here. Suppose that numerous killings have happened on a certain 1500 square foot block of pavement and there is a bar located there. Suppose you HAVE to have a rum and coke or a beer. What would possess you to hang out where all that blood has been spilled?  I am seriously wondering.  Would you just slam 'em and leave at midnight before the bullets start to fly?

C'mon Sheri a little lead with your booze is a good thing. Of course it's related. I f I had to guess i would say people are doing business out of the bar and well, shooting people is a normal extension of such an enterprise apparently. It's an easy way to eliminate the competition. And since absolutely NO ONE seems to be paying attantion or taking the bar owner to task I guess it really isn't a priority is it? If our fine elected representative is working against strengthening of the "points" system then I'd say we are on our own and no, no one is going to do anything about it.
