New Business Daisy Algarin provided input on how to get input from City.
1. Address to John McMahon/James Demps.
2. Five business days prior to 3rd Thursday committee meeting, request info on “Top 10” List from Maurice/Ron for discussion at meeting. Daisy will ask for info on top three priorities so up to date.
3. Maurice/Ron will define purpose of tickets if issued, ie. “to take to City court.”
Daisy also explained inspectors are very busy due to stepped up Enforcement, ie. Ticketing; can't always attend meetings. Asked if could get more inspectors, Daisy said attend and request at budget meetings. Gary K. tries to keep them at same level. Group also had several individual discussions.
Property Reports
#1 Priority: 685 Thurston Rd./580 Brooks Ave. Ray Knight's estate owns, son Michael Knight. Recently ticketed with response date 4-22. Maurice will take to Jeff and Gary to move this up in City's priorities.
#2 Priority: 346 Post Ave. Ticket issued with response date 5-20.
#3 Priority: 461 West Ave. Demo delayed due to budget (Thurston fire used a lot.) Ticket response date (TRD) 5-13.
Remaining properties not discussed but Maurice provided written input:
337 Sawyer St. Satisfactory progress per inspector.
348 Ravenwood Ave. Satisfactory progress per inspector.
244 Post Ave. TRD 5-6
177 Brooks Ave. TRD 5-9
27 Hancock St. TRD 5-13
85 Somerset St. Plans rec. to re-open closed porch; permit pending.
37/39 Filmore St. Ticket pending.
