The Housing Committee is looking for a few people to help them identify code violations.  They have a survey tool, and can provide training.  The task is simple but the effort becomes tedious when only a few are involved.  Basically they will give you a tool, show you how to use it, and ask you to walk your block, identifying code violations.  These are then turned into the Housing Committee who can take it from there.  No one knows you spotted the violation; your name does not appear on paperwork.  Come to a meeting, or call the Office to set up a training session outside of meeting time.  (training is approx 20 minutes) The Housing Committee meets every Wednesday, 11:00 AM, at 216 Thurston Road.

They also meet monthly on the 4th Thursday, 7:00 PM, 216 Thurston Road.  They have worked with City Officials, obtaining necessary information.  Their present efforts revolve around code violations, working with the owners to have problems resolved.  You can be involved without ever attending a meeting.
