Call 911 for Traffic Problems at Thurston and Enterprise
E2 Block Club has been in contact with police regarding illegal standing and parking at corner of Thurston and Enterprise, making it difficult to enter or exit onto Thurston. Please call 911 when you see these circumstances, to record, even if you do not see officers respond right away. It is critical that a record is made by calling 911 so they are aware a problem exists. No action will be taken unless we report whenever we see a vehicle in a no standing zone. Thank you. LaShay Harris, President of the 19th Ward Community Association, will be sending a letter to Chief Ciminelli, with a copy to Mayor Warren, regarding our concerns on Thurston Business Corridor, as well as Thurston/Chili. Will keep you updated.

On Thursday 10/9/14, just before 4:30 PM, could not turn right onto Enterprise from Thurston. School bus was stopped on Enterprise due to illegal parking. Another car on Thurston was waiting to turn left onto Enterprise, could not. All traffic was therefore stopped on Thurston. We had to wait until a liquor store patron came out from purchasing to move his car. Please call 911 if you observe illegal standing or parking at this intersection, so police are aware it is a problem. Thank you.
