Culture Tip
Spring is the time of year that orchids will benefit most from increased applications of fertilizer. Lengthening days and warmer temperatures result in new growth and the plants can more efficiently use plant food. We have been using increased concentrations of MSU fertilizer on our Cattleya orchids (3/4 teas./gal) Try to apply fertilizer on sunny and warmer days. Spring is also the best time to repot your orchids. We sell Orchiata Bark and have had great results using it! |
