This message comes from Sarah Scott with the City of Rochester Horticultural Department:
There are two awesome garden related events happening in Rochester:
1. The first tour in a series of neighborhood garden tours will take place on Saturday, July 12th from 12pm-5pm, and will highlight an array of gardens in the SE Quadrant of Rochester. Check out the City’s website for more detailed information about each of the gardens that will participate in this year’s Quadrant Garden Tours: www.cityofrochester.gov/neighborhoodgardentours
2. Mike Fleche is inviting you all to come to the Eisenberg Community Garden in the South Wedge area to check out hundreds of daylilies in bloom! See his email below for more information.
Please mark your calendars and invite a few friends to these great garden tours. Let’s get out and support fellow gardeners in their efforts to bring beauty and blooms to Rochester!

INVITE TO THE EISENBERG COMMUNITY DAYLILY GARDEN:
Dear fellow community gardeners,
I would like to invite you to an open house at the Eisenberg Community Garden, 1 Eisenberg Place, on Sunday July 13, from 1-3 p.m.
I hope the daylilies will cooperate and be at their peak right about then.
Please leave dogs and small children at home. Cameras are OK, but long straps tend to catch on scapes, so please leave purses, shoulder bags, and tripods in the car.
If you would like to come another time, please write to me and we'll set a time to meet in the garden.
I hope the daylilies I shared with you last year are doing well. I look forward to a full report!
Hope to see you in July.
Yours in gardening,
Mike Fleche mikefleche@gmail.com
