I just wanted to let you know that Status posts can only be seen by people who are members of Location19 AND who are signed in!  John just noticed that last night while troubleshooting some other problems with Mark Sweetland.  They noticed one of Marian's status posts only showed in the Latest Activity column when they were signed in.  John asked me to check this out today and that is what I see also.  Since the Daily Email Digest service is not signed in as a member when collecting Latest Activity information to send out in the Daily Email, it follows Status posts don't get into the Daily Email Digest.

If you have been wondering why all your friends have been ignoring your Status post gems, this may be why!  They can only see them if they are signed in.  Many people only sign in if they want to post something.  If they post a status and go check the Latest Activity column, they see their Status post and assume everyone sees it...  Not true.

You can check this right now by looking at the latest Activity Column on the Main page.  I had posted two Status posts before this Discussion.  If you see them, you are signed in.  If not, you aren't.   If I'm wrong let me know... before John finds out and cut back on my banana budget ;-)

This seems to have been a temporary bug that lasted a couple of days or so.  Mark, Marian and I all saw Status posts not showing up when we were not signed in, becoming visible when signed in and then disappearing when we signed out again.   While this was the case, a status post failed to get reported in that days email digest as you report above Ima.  Older email digests report status posts so it looks like this was a condition that only lasted two day or so.  Sorry for wasting you time Ima.
