Hi all...
I realized that I posted info under a very old discussion group. Oops. So, would like to start again. I am cutting and pasting my original post as well as one comment. Just sharing an experience and making people aware.
Thanks for listening.
Happy Holidays to all.
Here goes: My post is at the bottom.
Hello,
And just because somebody has a badge and company exists, it doesn't mean all is well. A little Googling produced the following links that indicate that there are consumer issues with Just Energy.

PS. I'm not on or near Marlborough; we live on Chili Ave. but I needed to join your group in order to post a comment.
Hello all!
There is a young gentleman that has been going door to door this afternoon as a representative from Just Energy.
That's all well and good. However, he pushed and pushed to come into my home as well as asking to look at my computer if it was on in order to check out a bill statement from RGE. I told him no, not interested, etc.
He would not back down. Accused me of being a poor consumer in my energy choices, after I told him, "no thanks" "all set" etc. Whether or not it's legit (and it did check out the company) is one thing, but to have representation like that from ANY company is just not ok.
I contacted the company and complained (I have his name and ID badge number) that this will not only deter people from changing energy suppliers, but it's just not a way to sell any product if you want good customer service.
I basically ended up closing the door after "no" was not enough.
His name is Brandon Bray. ID# 230651.
Thanks!
Kathy

In response to Leslie, I would like to say, that when you are in the middle of standing with someone at the door, it's difficult to run to the computer to check them out. I did afterward and saw similar posts to what you commented on, so thank you. In the midst of it, however, it was very disconcerting.
Glad you joined our group!!!
Kathy
Absolutely! I was just chiming in with what I had found out. I would have found the situation just as disconcerting. A million things run through one's mind when faced with an unusual situation like that.
See you around the group,
Leslie
