Owner: Muhammed Arshad has been there three and a half years. Store has been there many years.
Hours: 11 AM – 11 PM, 7 days.
Comments: Store is clean and neat. Products for sale include beverages, snacks, milk (inc. 2%,) cold cuts, other grocery staples. A takeout deli features subs, burgers, wings. There are Lottery sales. There has been drug traffic there out front, said the owner, but things are getting better.
The Arnett market is on the south east corner of Arnett and Woodbine.
Looking down the central aisle from the entrance we see nine coolers at the back of the store.
Coolers 4 through 7 are mostly beers with the others having pop and juices.
Cooler 9 also has cold-cuts eggs and Milk including 2%.
To the left on the east side of the store as you walk in the door is the checkout counter behind which you will probably find Muhammed Arshad, the owner. There is quite a bit of merchandise behing the counter.
Continuing down the east side of the store is the deli where you can buy subs, burgers and other goodies. You can also get Slush Puppies to fight the heat in the summer.
To the right, as you walk in the door, along the west wall of the store are 4 coolers with an ATM sandwiched in between. Along that wall are also racks loaded with various types of chips and with shelves containing paper products, trash bags, charcoal brickets and lighter, cleaning producats, bleach, dog food and cat food.
Across the iasle are shelves loaded with can-goods, sugar and salt, condiments, rice and pasta.
