I had a chance to check out the Phillis Wheatley Library a few months ago when I met with a friend there to get her signed up for Location19 and discuss the best way to set up a group to meet her needs.  It was a great place to work and your wireless network made setting up and working with our laptops a breeze.

Now that you have set up this group Lori don't hesitate to use it to publicize the services you offer the community.  A recently added feature to groups on and other Ning sites is the ability for the group creator to add pages to their group.  If you look at Ima's Test Group  you will see all the sorts of things you can do with using the one "Text Box" you get per group in conjunction with pages you can add to produce a well structured mini-website describing what your organization has to offer.

If you have any questions or want to talk over your possibilities don't hesitate to call: 328-4271

I got a great children's book from the library and Lori helped me pick it out. It's a scary story book and I memorized a short "jump story" and told it to the SWAN afterschool kids. Then the little 9 year olds JUMPED. It was the story of the little boy who pulled a big toe, out of the garden. "W-h-e-r-e-s m-y t-o-e?" It was too precious. Thanks Lori.
