All,
Many of you are probably aware that I am attempting to save Hunt's Hardware through its purchase, renovation, restocking, and re-energizing. I am doing this by asking for contributions of $100 in exchange for $150 of store credit paid out in 3 equal amounts on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd anniversaries of store re-opening.
Please go to the contribution site to learn about how I plan to change Hunt's to make it successful and to benefit the 19th Ward:

If you are unable to contribute financially, it would be greatly appreciated if you can support the initiative to save Hunt's by sharing this link with other contractors, residents, or people who might be more able to help.
Thanks,
David Culeton
Future Owner of Hunt's Hardware

I wish you the very best on this endeavor Dave. After watching the debacle surrounding 660 West Main Street church and the protracted gnashing of teeth that took place when the person who stepped forward and bought it did not want to restore the building, one would hope we see all those people put their money where their mouths were. In this case they are able to support someone doing the right thing for the neighborhood and they are investing their money with a promise of 150% return on investment.
