Serve 390 students Pre K-8
Disabilities: 27.9% (higher average than most schools)
Poverty: 94.2%
Ell (English Language Learners): 5.4%
Males: 52.6%
Females: 47.4%
African-American: 76.9%

Student Achievement:
How do we make sure the things that work are happening on a systematic basis.
Instructional Model is CCTM (Collaborative Co-Teaching Model); all inclusive; small-group, differentiated instruction. Includes restorative practices and community engagement.
Starting Points will be with last year’s data
ELA, Math & Science Indicators are used - need to get 67 points.
“Demonstrable” improvement required
Quarterly Report required to monitor progress.
Office of School Innovation works with schools in receivership. Collect resources and information from principals to determine “what works” to turn a school around.

Receivership Public Meeting

Trend to date is showing a significant reduction in incidents and suspensions.
Attendees broke up into groups to provide input/suggestions in 4 areas:
