•  Freedom School @ School #19 - Eva Thomas, Principal of School #19, has invited our committee to attend Harambee (morning celebration with participants and staff before program begins) at the school (465 Seward St) at 8:45 a.m. every day.

•  SW Libraries
    Arnett
     - Experience Kits - themed “kits” that have DVD’s, books, and materials on a particular subject; kits can be checked out for a week. One with a zombie theme. Geared for adults.

     - Zoo Mobile - Wednesday, 7/22, 4 p.m.

    Wheatley
     - Will be fully staffed next week.

     - Gardens are doing well; 6 raised beds so far; have received funds to install more food plants and trees (Edible Food Forest)

•  Bussing - discussion and explanation around request to reduce the bussing distance from 1.5 miles to 5 miles to encourage parents to keep their children attending schools in the neighborhood.
